  1. cgi.ebay.comeBayISAPI.dll

Extremely grossly over priced. I hope that no one is stupid enough to bid on this.

  2. I put it in my watch list so I can keep an eye on it, only time will tell...

  3. Ended with no bids, seller actually had the stones to relist for the same price...

  4. There's no doubt that some people are delusional about what their stuff is worth, or they just aren't up to date with market values. Also, some people aren't all that eager to sell their stuff, but will part with it for a lot of money, like that Raleigh.

Then there's the possibility that this ad was a "wife directive", which is:

Wife says to hubby: "GET THIS FARKIN BIKE OUT OF THIS HOUSE! You never ride it! Get rid of it. Sell it NOW!
Hubby: "But yeah, but nah, but yeah, but nah, but yeah..."
Wifey: "No 'buts' about it, it's getting sold."

Hubby argues in vain, then eventually and reluctantly agrees to put the bike on Ebay. He still wants to keep the bike, so he puts a ridiculous price on it so it doesn't sell, then says to wifey: "Look, I tried to sell it, but no one wants it, so I'd better keep it."
    :-)

  5. I once sold an empty bag of popcorn on ebay for 75 cents
