It's designed for a Zefal HPx3 pump ('3' is the size). The handle rests
against the pump peg, and the pump's head against the frame. A Velcro
strap helps keep it from getting launched when you hit a bump, etc.

Crank Bros Alloy pump is small, light, has a gauge and dual cyclinder and an
attaching holder that will fit any tube. It's a powerful little pump - the
only one I could find that would put a tyre up to 80 lbs without undue
strain..

Take a look at the Topeak Road Morph. It will pump up to 120 and then
some with no problem. Now I "...don't leave home without one."

The Zéfal HPX is the One True Pump, but the Road Morph is more
portable. I can get the Road Morph into my Ortlieb Bike Box, but the
HPX was always and remains to this day the easiest hand pump with
which to get pressures of 100psi and above, in my opinion.

I have had an HPX (the same one) for over twenty years, and it was
only two years ago that I bought my first track pump.

Topeaks are definitely good pumps, but RANS designed that peg to fit the
Zefals HPx3. I tried mounting a Road Morph to my Stratus, but never did
come up with a satisfactory location/method.

I used to feel that way about my Zefal, but my results with the Topeak
vs. the Zefal were different. I found it easier and quicker to get up
to 100 plus with the Topeak. I was carrying both on the V-REX. The
Strada doesn't have a peg pump, but I'm still keeping the Zefal!!
Maybe for me it was because of technique. With the Topeak, I can use
my body weight due to its construction. YMMV
