Betch a $ if he leaves he's on Discovery next year.
I don't know, sounds like he wants to be a team leader, but if they offered to make him leader for the Giro, or whichever Lance wasn't doing he might go for it. I don't see the Vuelta as a possibility because they will continue to give that to their Spanish riders. Bill C

But he isn't a team leader. How can you claim to be a leader, if you can't win a decent race in 4 years (since his magical year 2000). A leader shows reliability, a leader is someone who's always there and performs when he's expected to perform. And who can cope with the pressure that goes with that. Kloden didn't shown that yet. He should nicely keep his mouth shut and try to repeat his performance next year. Then he's in the position to talk and claim things.

I honestly thought this thread was about the T-Mobile International (formerly known as SFGP) once Armstrong (Lance, that is) announced he wasn't starting.
