I doubt there'd be any need whatsover for blood doping in F1. I suppose
people might take stimulants or something but I don't think they'd help
    much over that distance.

There have been rumours that F1 drivers have been using EPO. What
    about beta blockers and/or alchohol?

Wouldnt it just make more sense if all competitors in the professional
sports arena were tested once per year as a matter of course. That way
you could ensure that "random" testing didnt miss some and that the
playing field was level. Athletes should see the tests as a badge of
    honour, not as a threat.

I don't know how you deal with it and I am coming to the conclusion
that you can't. As soon as you think you have sorted out one problem
(i.e. E.P.O) then along will come something else which will be
undetectable for a while, and so on. That is why I say let them, get
on with it. Stop testing. It is a worthless, costly and pointless
exercise. Let everybody, in any sport, take whatever they want for
however long they want. If it takes more and more to win, then so be
it. After a generation of sportsmen being given this freedom, then
those who follow afterwards will see the folly of it all: they will
see the disfigurements; the impotence; the early deaths and so on and
will realise it simply isn't worth it.

Let the drugs companies sponsor away to the hilt.

It's not pointless - a good testing regime both in and out of competition
catches people. The tour is in this state because the tests are working!
The rest of cycling, including the UCI, has to bring themselves up to the
level that the Tour has now set.

Naive. Look at bodybuilding. Thinking about it, look at cycling! The
resurgence of the tough anti-drug regime was not rider led, though the
majority seem to support it now.
