if it isn't a technical innovation (which is whatever the UCI /thinks/
it is, they can always exclude you for wearing a piece of non essential
clothing.

Yes, it's all thanks to ski binding release manufacturers Time and Look
realising that the woolly hat was just what cyclists needed on a chilly day!

Just reminded me of a video of a bloke going straight down the side of a
mountain on a mountain bike in Japan. Was a relatively smooth mountain, he
was clocked at over 100. And then the headtube sheared off...
