All we need to do in Dundee is wander up the hill[1]. Very nice
telescope up there (and friendly people too) so I have been able to
observe the rings of saturn and the big white spot [2] on jupiter. Not
today mind you.. tucked up in bed with a bad cold.

Just got back. It wasn't too cold but it was nice and clear.
The gathering of telescopes was almost surreal on the Meadow.

We had some good views of Saturn, its rings, and its moon Trident as well as
various other astronomical bits - a galaxy, a nebula, betelguese...
The Campaign for Dark Skies were also present - but no Mr BeSeenonaBike ;-)

Warming soup and a shepherds pie kept the insides warm :-)

It was a great evening.
