I'll second that. The Viagra spammers seem to hit my mailbox in waves,
going a week or two without hitting me and then occasionally flooding my
mailbox with dozens of copies of the same spam on a single day. My other
most hated spam would be the Nigerian financial scam spammers, but their
letters are so stupid that they amuse me--at least the first hundred
copies and variations of the scam did.

Does the durability of the Nigerian scam mean that there are people actually
buying into it? I find that incredible.

There's an unsubscribe, but you know that just confirms to them that your
email is 'live.'

There's a new scam out using the same framework, this time it's just gold
dust they are promising.
I told one Nigerian scammer (who's IP was French?) to P*** O** and all I got
was abuse.

So do I, but remember: Given the millions of copies of the spam that get
sent out, they only need something like 0.001% or even less of those who
receive the spam to respond for the spam to be worthwhile.
