Tonight's menu is pork fajitas. Modom is probably pitching a
fit as he reads this, but he can blame it on the 7+ years I
lived in NC (state motto: Thank you for smoking and eating
pork. Or is it thank you for eating smoked pork?).

Mmmmm shrimp on the barbie. It's one of my favourites. I
like to marinate them in the shell in a nice zesty mixture
of olive oil, lime juice, salt, pepper, hot sauce,
Worchestershire, ketchup, garlic and chopped parsley.

No I haven't! Usually I eat food, not take pictures of it. I
think it has to do with my greediness. If I stop to take
pictures of it, I won't get to eat it as soon. Since I have
never posted any pictures of food to anywhere...I believe
you have me mixed up with somebody else. Alls' I ever did
was tell you about some free photo software.
The shrimp were especial good...the garlic in the marinade
made them very sweet tasting. Didn't need the cocktail
sauce at all.
marinade: A handful of flat leaf parsley, sprinkling of
crushed red peppers,
1/2 a red onion, 5 cloves garlic, some hot sauce (Frank's)
some fish sauce and a little olive oil. All whizzed up in
a processor. Was basted on the shrimp as well as letting
the shrimp soak for about 1 hr. Shrimp were cooked in a
lightly oiled BBQ Wok (pot with many holes in it) till
nicely pink.

Damn...I forgot to mention the juice of 2 limes I used.

Actually, I read it far too late to respond. But I'm back
frm my trip to Boston, Maine, and back to the Cape.
Dinner tonight was a grilled cheese sandwich with onion on
sourdough bread. Recent meals included a rack of lamb at Sel
de la Terre on Boston Harbor, lobster loaf in Portland
harbor, grilled lobster on the Cape, grilled oysters with a
nice soy sauce/lemon/chile/ginger sauce drizzled on top, and
grilled swordfish and mahi mahi at the rental on the Cape.
You can take the Texan to the Cape, but....
