Long, long ago, when I was young, I could eat anything I wanted and

I used to be underweight, if I didn't take care to make sure I ate enough.
Then when I was about 26, I started gaining weight.

Has anyone heard anything from Hag lately? I haven't heard a peep in

I don't know Hag personally, but I've seen an occasional post,
IIRC. Very rare though, which is too bad...

Oh I'll echo that one. It isn't too bad at 40 right now but there are
little things that I know in 5 to 10 years are going to become
    problematic.

I think the main problem with humans is that nature didn't really intend
that we live much past 40. I'm just waiting for the rejuvenation clinics
to open so I can live a few hundred years.

When I hit 40, I quit smoking, gained the inevitable poundage and
joined a gym. Became a workout grind and I'm still at it. I run 2
miles MWF and lift weights TTH and has it paid off. I could still
stand to lose 10 lbs, which seem to stick around just to p*ss me off,
but at our last class reunion, I was pleased with the payoff <g> And
we have our 39th in October in Dallas and I'm working twice as hard,
'cause I heard Cheryl Ellis will be there, who told me in h.s. she was
the prettiest girl in our class <eyeball rolling> and, well, some
things you *never* outgrow from high school.

Had one classmate tell me that the only reason he goes to reunions is
to apologize for his behavior in high school.
