I've put a new message board on my site, The Pennine Way Site, for anyone wishing to ask for information, swap experiences, etc. much the same as is done here on walking in general.

I thought there were only two Pennine Ways but it seems there are three now :-)

Hows that, Dominic?
You posted your message three times. At 7:46, 7:58 and then 8:20 with an additional The at the start if the subject. They seem to be breeding...
Thats strange - there is only one message showing up in my outlook express.
I did post the two previous posts, as you say, but when they didn't show up I posted the third. Still only one showing here!
Apologies!

That's probably the answer. That or your server is slower than a snail on mogadon :-)

I'd like to think Dominic's post was more humour than complaint, though with an element of both. You did say sorry before. -- Phil Cook, last hill: Angletarn Pikes via Beda Fell.
I didn't think you were complaining, Dominic - how could anyone complain about having their attention drawn to such a fine website, even in triplicate!
BTW there is a third Pennine Way, you know, The Pennine Way Yak and LLama route. Haven't tried it myself....

No need to apologise. I found it a bit strange but also moderately entertaining.

That was the intent but it doesn't always travel well.
The second Pennine Way I was referring to was the Pennine Bridleway which may or may not be of much interest to folk here:

One, when I first trod it;-) But to be honest it did deviate from the Pennines;-) -- Craven and Pendle Birds: Bird watching in and around Craven & Pendle. North Yorkshire and East Lancashire. http://craven-and-pendle-birding.org/
