For want of anything better to do I am in the process of working my way
through AWs book 8.
Last Saturday morning I wandered round a route that approximated to AWs
Naddle Horseshoe. I won't bore you with a TR but given the target
population for this book I think I should warn those intending to do
that particular walk that Hugh's Laithes Pike now lies just the other
side of a stout 6 foot high deer fence which lacks any easy means of
crossing it.
Also be sure that you do the walk in the direction indicated. Your whole
day would be spoilt if you tried to reverse it and on reaching the point
where you leave the PROW at Naddle Farm (Naddle House per AW) you meet a
notice saying the land is owned by North West Water who deny you access
to protect their "community resource".
