  1. I did it......

Today at work, I was told to label the cases of bottled
water. Thanks to some food for thought from this group, I
put up a sign beside the price reading NO CARBS.

Like a bunch of moths to a light bulb........all these
people were standing around ooohing and aaahing over the
'intelligence of the person who took the carbohydrates out
    of water'.......

Yo, any village missing an idiot or two. Give a call, I can
tell you where to come pick up a truck load.

Try low-carb pork rinds or beef jerky. You may accumulate a
    few more idiots.

There's a low-carb sucker born every minute. Now if you'd

ROFL... I remember when I first started my 'heart healthy'
eating. I became fanatical about it. While I do carefully
watch my intake of fat grams and cholesterol, I do not fall
for every 'fat free/cholesterol free product on the market,
as I did in the past. I swear, if they had a sign saying
fat free celery and charged a buck more a stalk, I would
have fallen for it. I do like some fat free foods such as
cottage cheese etc. but you can't tell me there is
    absolutely no fat in it.

Michael <- thinks low carb butter will make a great snack

    Jill

Jill, here in the US we use "a" not "the" in front of the
word. Makes a world of difference. Brits also use "[censored]"
which has nothing to do with bodily functions. And so it
goes. The web is an international medium.

= mocking in American. No, it doesn't mean that in
    = "American" English. In
fact, I have no idea what that might mean in "American".
