Today at work, I was told to label the cases of bottled water. Thanks to some food for thought from this group, I put up a sign beside the price reading NO CARBS.
Like a bunch of moths to a light bulb........all these people were standing around ooohing and aaahing over the 'intelligence of the person who took the carbohydrates out of water'.......
Yo, any village missing an idiot or two. Give a call, I can tell you where to come pick up a truck load.

Try low-carb pork rinds or beef jerky. You may accumulate a few more idiots.

Could it be that they were oohing and aahing over the "intelligence" of the person who put up the sign?

ROFL... I remember when I first started my 'heart healthy' eating. I became fanatical about it. While I do carefully watch my intake of fat grams and cholesterol, I do not fall for every 'fat free/cholesterol free product on the market, as I did in the past. I swear, if they had a sign saying fat free celery and charged a buck more a stalk, I would have fallen for it. I do like some fat free foods such as cottage cheese etc. but you can't tell me there is absolutely no fat in it.

Jill, here in the US we use "a" not "the" in front of the word. Makes a world of difference. Brits also use "[censored]" which has nothing to do with bodily functions. And so it goes. The web is an international medium.

Which means the low/no fat dieters are unable to put together and snack on a tungsten sandwich 😉
