When I went to work for Mike Sinyard as SPECIALIZED’s first bicycle frame designer, I created the iconic SPECIALIZED Sequoia sport-touring bike. Those original Sequoias developed an avid following among experienced riders. Even today, 30 years later, riders contact me for information on their newly acquired classic Sequoias, found on ebay or elsewhere.

Mike Sinyard is completely on board with the new Sequoia. He and I accomplished allot together.
