I have a copy (bought from the above website). A good "gritty" documentary which shows how tough trying to make it in pro bike racing really is - not much glamour and no podium girls on view. Some local interest too 'cos Hilton Clarke was one of the team riders in the film.

is there a PAL version around/on the horizon?

You need a DVD player or TV upgrade.. off you go
to Retro Vision (is that where everything is in mission
brown?).

Found it on bikepro.com, might get it from there.

It's where the remote has friction levers rather than buttons.

Suzy (in total bliss today 'cos she put together her new bike last night and rode it in to work)

Yup... It's got a nice coat of red paint (I'm getting the hang of this whole bike painting gig) and put together largely with bits stolen from my old Colnago. It rides really nicely. Neutral handling, stable, tracks straight, goes well no hands, and fits beautifully. Hopefully now I won't get a sore neck during really long (>150km) rides, as the bars are moved up by about 2cm c/w the Colnago.

I can't wait 🙂 I did another 200km last Sunday, and have another 200km+ ride planned for Saturday (helping in a bike week thingy this Sunday), but then am off to The Netherlands on the 9th for a fortnight, which may prove troublesome. Oh well, I've entered now, so there's no backing out.
Regards,
Suzy

According to this:
http://www.dailypeloton.com/throrderpage.asp
"The Hard Road" is Region-0, ie. region free.
According to this:
http://groups.google.com/groups?q=playstation+NTSC+dvd+site:.au&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm=vhbg2tk8bolvu4i4agtecnk3dcjqpq2sf2%404ax.com&rnum=4
you can play Region-0 discs on a PS2.
BUT.. it appears that the PS2 doesn't convert
NTSC (scumbag standard) to PAL (our standard).
So, unless your TV and/or VCR are newer, multi-format
ones, you may or may not be able to watch it..
Could always dump it from DVD to PC to watch it
if you cant view NTSC source material..
