Three pints of expensive lager actually, or a larger quantity of
    bitter!

    Yes - well worth it.

Why should they do it free?

I don't think they can any more - not suggesting that they should.
I'm just drawing attention to it, because some of our regulars might
not know and will be wondering what's happened when April arrives and
    they can't post.

I got a rather unprofessional email from them, with loads of
other subscribers email addresses at the top. I was a little
worried it might not be from them as the change starts on April
    1st!

You must still use the address you had when you registered with them.
Anyone who has changed - as I have - won't get told.
I heard about the change on another ng, and checked up because of the
    date involved!
It's certainly worth 10 Euros - but if you need to pay by card then
that may exclude people, which would be a shame.

BTW, I wonder if were there no free email/news, trolls would
    largely disappear?

Either disappear or use their Scottish college account!

Interesting - mine was just to me. No other addresses in the header so I
guess they were brought back into line rather quickly.

I for one appreciated the heads up on various NGs - I rather
fear their email to me (if such there were) may've got caught
    in a spamtrap. Ooops!
