It ain't the 60's. Rush Limbaugh, the antithesis of the 60s, was taking
a truly mind-blowing 80 Oxycontin pills/day last year. Prohibition was
attempted and failed all the way back in the 20s.

Western culture tolerates a certain amount of drug use and it didn't
start in the 60s. Don't like it? You can't change it, but you can
always move to Singapore.

doping isnt illegal unless your racing, if people want to dope they are allowed to as long as they dont race, you sound like rosie o'donnell or something, the wonderful thing about america is we can do what we like as long as it doesn't infringe on someone elses rights, and doping outside of racing is only bad for the dopers

And KG says bike racing isn't important and now we know its part of
the U.S. drug code.

Now if someone would just clear up which is the biggest divide between
European racing and the U.S.: that the U.S. fans get upset over drug
use or that U.S. spectators get upset over people peeing against a
wall. Guess either can get you DQ'd.

deaths, due to doping, but expect to start seeing this in other sports. Now
the US Government is starting to get involved, and will most likely start
passing laws to try to put out this wild fire spreading across the land.
It's a legacy that Cycling should be ashamed of, and be corrected by having
a 0 tolerance, one positive result equals life suspension. Random testing
