    Hi all,

    Jobst recently chided me for telling people that 32 spoke wheels pull the rim seam apart (I was of
    course kidding), and mentioned he'd written "The Bicycle Wheel" in order to quash just that sort
    of folklore.

    So I took the hint and ordered the great work from Amazon, who said it'd be about a six week wait.
    Anyway, now they've come back and said that they can't get it at all.

    Where does someone in the [censored] end of the world (as one of our better Prime Ministers described it)
    get a copy of this opus?

    Try www.nashbar.com and also avocet.comwheelbook.html. Many bike shops also
    carry the book.

    I just got a copy from Half Price Books--for $5.50. Also, I have seen it on EBay before, usually
    well under $10.

    The Technical Bookshop in Melbourne carried it, and can order it for you if it is out of stock.
