  1. I, too saw fat-tire fury, and became inspired. I'm a big mountain biker
and it looked like a cool thing to do. So, i learned. And i just got my
new MUni yesterday-it's awesome. I learned on an ancient one that wwwas
so beat that it had horns on the sides of the seats that would cut into
my legs after 10 or 15 minutes. My new KH seat is about a million times
    more comfortable.

  2. I came to unicycling in a roundabout way. I initially say the Embrio on
some tech site, and it was lust at first site. I obsessed over it for a
while and then started researching monowheel vehicles I fount the
RIOTwheel and really wanted that next (being homebuilt and all i figured
maybe i could do something similar myself). I went in a similar fashion
bouncing from designing one monowheel to the next when I saw the
e-unicycle. I decided that was it, he had plans and everything, I was
going to build onr of those with a 29 inch wheel but first I had to
learn to ride a uni. So that night I ordered a torkerLX 24. Since I
have learned to ride a uni I havent thought even once about building one
of those powered contraptions. wow. I almost forgot why i even got
started. once uni'ing gets into your blood all other things take a
    back seat. 5months and counting...

  4. Hm. When I was 12, my mom wouldn't let me get a skateboard...so the
obvious choice was a unicycle. Up to the LBS I go, and in a week or so
I'm puttering around my deck. After a year I found out about this
strange thing called MUni, and then got hooked on Trials.

Yes and if that is not enough, some kind fellow posted (on page two of
that same thread) the titles of yet more threads about this same
    issue.
