Right you are Skip, but you are one of the few intelligent souls here on
ARBR. Sorry, but you are not enough reason for me to stay. I am moving on
now to other adventures.

Anyone who can't see the difference between me and Ed Gin is just too stupid
for words. I can't be bothered anymore by idiots like Leuck who does not
even know how to punctuate a sentence.

Wrong as always. I can tell the difference fine. Your inability to
spot the similarities may be more of an issue...

Guy, I am merely contentious and I love to argue. I read what others write
and I answer appropriately. Ed Gin is a parrot who spews nothing but garbage
and nonsense. But worse than that, he is a criminal who steals other's
identities. He hides behind sock puppets. He is reprehensible in every sense
of the word. I do not see any similarities at all between myself and Ed Gin.

By the way, you and Tom Sherman and everyone else here on ARBR are OK with
me as all of you have been honest and above board no matter our
disagreements. You can see what precious qualities these are when you find
them lacking in a scoundrel like Ed Gin.

And how many people have left the group because of the OT political
"get the retaliation in first" stuff you post? In the end it's the
effect, not the style, which matters: does someone's contribution make
the group better or worse. Admittedly with you it goes in phases -
sometimes you are responsible for up to half the posts in the group,
and almost none of them are on topic, while at other times the group
can go up to a couple of days (hah!) without a single off-topic post.
When you get bad I use Agent's "mark read" filter with a 30-day
expiry, that

But he is, in the end, a drive-by poster. He will vanish again in
short order, as usual.

I don't visit here as often as I used to.. Too much shaff, not enough wheat.

But, though I don't know Ed Gin personally, I have a lot of respect for what
he has accomplished with recumbents. I have visited different web sites and
found his projects very interesting..... I actually bought a sheet of
coroplast to build a tailbox..... but, alas, it sits unused... while I ride.

Does anyone here know what this idiot is talking about?

Whether the posts are on topic or off topic does not matter. If others are
responding, that is all that matters. If you only knew how deadly dull your
on topic posting is you would get off topic more like me.

That is not for sure Guy. You need to resolve on how to deal with assholes
like Ed Gin if they don't go away. Jim McNamara and I fight assholes like Ed
Gin. Your position regarding obnoxious posters (they will go away if we
ignore them) is cowardly and doomed to failure in the event they don't go
away. No, it is better to fight them tooth and nail even if it takes down
the newsgroup. I have always despised cowards. Armageddon is better than
compromise with evil.

Ed Gin is a criminal if we can judge him by his posts to this newsgroup. You
would be well advised to keep your distance from him. Just because someone
can tinker with bikes does not make him respectable. What makes a person
respectable is how he treats others. Ed Gin is contemptible on all counts.
Read his posts to this group if you think otherwise (Johnny NoCom **** and
other false names too numerous to keep track of).

I've met Ed on several ocassions and Arne pretty much sums up my perceptions
too.BTW Guy, Ed wears a helmet but he rides pretty damned fast. FWIW,
because you continue your battle of half wits with the Great Dolan, I think
you're the ****.

What a stupid post this is.What a person does on the net does not have anything to do with what he does on the street. Are you saying because this Gin fellow wears a helmut and rides fast he should be allowed to step on the freedoms of other people? You and Arne are the Arses.

A curiously anachronistic turn of phrase you have there, Ed - but no,
in the main, we don't know what you are talking about, and even when
we do we'd very often rather you weren't.

And thinking about it, you seem to be posting an awful lot for someone
who's left the group...

This will probably turn out to be the longest goodbye in Usenet history. I
am determined to leave as there are just not enough intelligent folks here
for me. Those that are half way intelligent turn out to be cowards when it
comes to a criminal type like Ed Gin. Cowards and idiots! That is what ARBR
is full of. At least you summoned up enough guts to call Ed Gin an ass
(****).

But I do not like to leave with loose ends dangling. Once I have tied up the
loose ends, I assure you I will be gone from here never to return.

No, it will merely be the longest goodbye in Usenet history.

Ed Gin needs to figure out that rest stops on invitational rides are for
