I have never seen Brighton snow covered since it became a city. Thanks for
the heads up , I kind of assumed there would be none on the coast.

Snow? Really? There's still snow about? There's none in London - a
brilliant sunny day so far... 🙂

You had it Friday when we didn't. It is fairly localised.
I had decided to go for it anyway when another heavy blizzard has just
started, but the roads are clear. This could be a short ride.

Why not? What was the problem? I've done both my last two 100Km runs
with some snow at road level at least part of the way.

There was snow here (outskirts of london, surrey side) lying on the
ground (albeit only a centimetre or two) which melted before I got up,
and we had another fairly heavy flurry mid-day, which didn't settle cos
the sun had warmed the surfaces up.

Well was that a sensible idea? got caught in blizzard two thirds of the way,
cars overtaking us in 2cm of lying slow at 30 mph on a narrow lane, morons!
Fortunately the second blizzard was whilst in the caff. The third was on the
way down Ditchling, did not admire the view, too busy worrying about more
cars up my [censored]. I was finished by the time I baled at the in laws for lift
home, and still 1k short of the hundred. All good character building stuff.

Still snowing this am, it refuses to warm up.
Is it nice spring 200km friendly weather in your neck of the woods?
I need to plan what to wear to Denmead on Saturday; if I wore what I
wore on Sunday I will boil in the bag (yes I know I should get a bigger
saddle bag)
