  4. Mu_nrise Through The Shadow said:

I gave you a hefty list of topics Chung could not have expertise in and, now, and again, I ask you
    to quiz me on them.

For what possible *good* reason would anyone want to quiz Mu_cus? As=20 though getting answers from
an anonymous and, therefore, nutless=20 wonder would matter.

Mu_lcter talks about how this is just usenet and not the real world.=20 Mu_sic from Intestines says
he can't identify anyone on usenet and, of=20 course, that's correct, if trivially stupid. The
combination of usenet=20 identity and real world name and info makes identification rather=20 easy.
Hence, his timorous fear at having his real name exposed. Poor=20 scared Mu_liebrity. Dictionary
    time again, Mu_gger.

Just as anyone who hides so assiduously as Mu_stard Plaster does=20 cannot easily be identified. But
the real question is about the value=20 of the identity at all. Mu_lch has so often shown a
propensity merely=20 for trollery that finding the real name of this sort of skulking fake=20 has no
value to anyone. It simply doesn't matter who the cowardly=20 phony behind the screen name is.

    Quoted message said:

Stephen, this is your chance to either be a hero to the trolls who have duped you into believing
Mu-Chung or it will be your Usenet undoing.

<Bring up Wagnerian music - cue echo machine> YOUR [YOur YOur your]=20 USENET [USENet USenet Usenet]
    UNDOING [UNDOing UNdoing Undoing].

How important and deep this is. Mu_lberry makes it all so desperately=20 SIGNIFICANT. Like the
little guy behind the curtain pushing the levers=20 to make sound and fury. And sound and fury is
    all it is.

    Quoted message said:

Time to face the piper that you called into being.

Bwahahahaha. This is linguistic incompetence of a new order. The=20 clich=E9 is "pay the piper" and
has nothing to do with this sort of=20 discourse. Maybe Mu_cilage meant "face the music" but that's
equally=20 inappropriate. And that "called into being" thing is simply funny=20 without making any
sense. Poor Mu_dpie. So illiterate he can't even=20 sort out his crutches and clich=E9s.

    Quoted message said:

    Balls in your court.

But poor Mu_dlark has no balls in his court. I wonder if his=20 dictionary has "mudlark" in it.

This M-U thing is fun. There are lots of appropriate words like that.

And the funniest part of it all is that "mu" means "nothing." Even=20 better than when he called
himself "fishbone" in French. Notice how=20 quickly he stopped using that one. <LOL>

Poor Mu_ff likes to "challenge" people and take the offensive, while making sure never to actually
put himself in a position of having to put up or shut up.

That $10,000 Mu/Chung meeting business is a good example. A while back he found himself in the
situation of having someone take him up on it. He squirmed and wiggled and finally just stopped
responding. Then he "disappeared" for a while, as he does when it gets too hot, and reappears with
    new axes to grind.

He's big and brave and tells the NG's how he's such a stud who trains famous athletes and goes to
Iraq and talks to prisoners even though he doesn't speak any of the languages Iraqis do and he
believes what they tell him. He does his tough guy routine from the safety of anonymity. Very
    believable, huh?

He promotes the 2PoundPOWDiet with the same "science" as Chung does and with the same oh-so-
convincing assertions of huge success with no failure. Except his "friend" Mel Hall (MD, "she" says)
says that her MD ex-husband has tried it with patients of his and *most* get good results. And
*most* stick with it. Sorta blows that infallibility they like to imply out of the water.

There's a FAQ out there somewhere (anybody?) that lists some of his names and utterly hilarious
trollery. Poor guy *can't* say who he is now. Too many people would laugh at him. It would be worse
than death to a phony swaggerer like that.

Might not work any better than Two Ounce POW Diet. I think Francis would be more familiar with the
metric system. The conversions get kind of clunky. I mean the Five Centimeter diet loses that
essential twoness of the others. Perhaps there's a unit of some sort out there that would permit the
continued use of two as the guideline. Maybe two handfuls. Worth a thought.

    Quoted message said:

I have re-read through all the threads I participated in and would like to offer you a thought.
Whether or not you believe in Jesus, do take time to speak *directly* with God - be you
Christian, Jew, Buddhist, Moslem, Hindu, whatever. In fact consider speaking with God even if
you're not sure He exists - you could be wrong!

I do know one thing. Whether or not you believe in Jesus Christ, God will listen to you if you
speak directly to him. The notion put forth here br Dr. Chung that somehow we aren't good enough
to speak directly to God and must do so though Jesus and ONLY through Jesus is without a doubt
the most ludicrous thing I have ever read on the Internet - and there are a LOT of ludicrous
    things on the Internet.

Ah, Steven, I don't believe that Dr. Chung has said any such thing, i.e., that one can speak to
God only through Jesus Christ. I suspect that most Christians would subscribe to the notion that
anyone can petition God directly in prayer. Most Christians would also subscribe to the notion
that invoking the name of Jesus in the prayer makes the prayer "more powerful". Many Christians
end their prayers by saying something like, "I ask these thing in the name of Jesus, Amen." Surely
    you've heard this before.

You may be confusing the above with the Christian belief that *salvation* is only through Jesus
Christ. Jesus Himself said so numerous times in the Gospels. Obviously, people who subscribe to
other religions such as Judaism or Islam do not accept this. Nevertheless, that does not make what
Dr. Chung has said about salvation to be ludicrous, unless you take all of Christianity to be
    ludicrous.

    I suspect the latter.

Hmmmm......interesting assertion. Perhaps someone could supply some data comparing deaths due to
fanatical religious belief with deaths due to fanatical Godless political belief. For the latter,
you could restrict yourselves to just the 20th century. Lot's of deaths due to fanatical Godless
political belief during that period. Sorry to invoke Godwin's here (I'm not calling anyone here a
Nazi) but [censored], Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Tojo, Kim Il Sung, and on and on. All for political ideals
    or just plain greed.

I see nothing in Christianity promoting religious war, quite the contrary.

    Yes, you are correct.

    Quoted message said:

Sure, there have been plenty of wars in the NAME of Christianity but I believe that these were
