I'm a fairly serious young rider and sometimes on the longer rides my left testicle starts hurting like crazy from moving up and down with my left leg. It can get to the point where I can barely pedal unless I ride out of the saddle.
is there something i dont know about? i mean id think the pros would find some way around this problem...

Lance seems to have a permanent remedy.🙄 I'm sorry, couldn't help myself. This could be a seat fore\aft adjustment problem or a placement/shifting problem, if you cath my meaning. Best to be safe and check with a sports medicine/cycling MD.

You do not say if you wear cycling shorts. See a doctor. Could be a medical problem that is being agravated by cycling.
i rock pearl izumi shorts...but i wear briefs underneath just cuz i assume ur supposed to right?
thanks for the help
Cycle shorts are designed to be worn without underwear. It might be the briefs wot are giving you grief. They should also be very close fitting. Go to the thread entitled "Why cycling shorts should always be black" to see just how tight. Cycling does not cause testicular problems as a rule, so if you are experiencing any get them checked out for other causes.
you could always try putting your junk in the "up" position...seems to do the trick when the plumbing is getting in the way
This seems to be pretty commom. Once you get the nice and tight shorts on (minus the underwear), pull the boys up a bit, and see if that helps. You don't want them in contact with your thighs at all, since they will tend to roll around as you pedal--which I'm not sure how anyone could even stand that for a few minutes. Either way, ditch the underwear, and pull everything up a bit to see if that helps. Good luck!
