Tested the pole on a soggy bimble up Kinder Scout yesterday. I needed it
too, what with wet, slippery rocks and me being a clumsy oaf. By the
stiffness in my right arm I can tell it was getting a work out. (Oi, no
smutty remarks there at the back.) I'll have to get another one or I'll
end up being lop-sided.

away, getting soaked around Hope and Edale. -

the Pennine way. Going there was a last minute thing, we'd originally
planned to go to the Glyders but the weather forecast for that area was

Hey great to hear your "pole test" report. I agree. Two is better than
one, but it does not always seem that way at the start of the trail.
