well so far I have tested quite a few. without rain purple extreme works well.
but so far Honda's new chain lube for their motorcycles seems to be a clear
winner. two rain rides and it is still going strong. petty cheap too a big spray
can only 5.50

Thanks for the serious advice Steve. I should have put a smiley ;-) in
to let people in on the joke (snake OIL as lubricant).

I was responding to 2 other crossposts with that pyramid scheme flair
on ARBR but without replying to them to avoid posting on 10 groups, but
tieing that into this forum *only*; by starting a new post.

As far as lubrication, I just grab a can of Tri-flow at the Longs Drugs
and do without a candy bar or two.

I was not sure but I figured what the hell (G) I have been playing around with
lubes as it is cheaper then playing around with anything else on a bike. it's
nice to get 400 miles from one lubrication and not a bunch of black on your
chain.

Potential lubricants for sliced bread include butter, margarine, jelly,
jam, preserves, honey, hummus and marmalade.
