I don't see how Cervelo can get any more popular than they are now. It's not as if they lack name recognition. Cervelo closed its team and merged with Garmin, a one for one trade in terms of teams sponsored (not counting CTT's female squad). It seems like status quo to me.

CTT's men's team will end and merge with Garmin. CTT's women's team will continue.

With the cast of Garmin, we should see how Cervelo's react to being crashed lots.... and lots... and lots. Now that they've got the R5 which comes in at about 600 grams for Hushovds frame, they'll be able to add about an extra 20 layers or carbon, kevlar and tank amour and still have Van de veldes' frame weigh less that a kilo.

Besides, it's not like they win anything either - unlike the days of CSC when Cervelo's were seen winning the Giro, Paris Roubaix and a bunch of other classics that people give a damn about. If anything the cost might go down. :p

Cervelo's are very popular, especialy in Triathlon, if you look at Ironman distance triathlons the majority of the bikes are Cervelo

I'm wondering where this leaves Felt? Who's riding them next year?
