If somebody does wheel buulding 101 I'm there. I had a practice run with
an old wheel and the Sheldon Brown notes but I doubt I'd do it for real
without watching a wheel get built first.

From the Brunswick St Cycles site:

"Also WORKSHOP LESSONS are now being held first Tuesday of every month
at 6pm in Brunswick Street and 5:30pm in Greensborough. Cost is $20.
Bring your bike in and we can show you basic or advanced repairs."

I'd guess they'd just tailor the lesson depending on the people who turn up.

Hmmmmmm. All this talk about teaching people about fixing bikes has got
me thinking - I work as a trainer....... A visit to the LBS is
happening this arvo anyway so maybe if the conversation was to "drift"
in the bike maintenance/commuting/touring/bike-related-whatever class
direction...:-) Perhaps even a wheel building class...:-)

Yeah! Urn coffee and tea, and a packet of mixed creams. Had to be
quick with the latter 🙂
