OK so Lance is [censored] at Evans, Evans wasn't [censored] at Pereirro, Pereirro was [censored] at Hincapie.
Merckx was [censored] at Vassauer.
Moreau is [censored] that Vino might join CA, Vino is [censored] at TMobile.
Like riders through the peleton - these are the days of our lives!
You forgot this one. 🙂
"Gilbert said that he was unhappy with Cadel Evans, as he considered that the Australian broke an agreement to keep the group together on the Aubisque. Evans attacked on the climb, cresting the summit clear of the other riders in the breakaway. For his part, Cadel didn't deny making that promise. "I don't care about what that Gilbert has to say. I'm here to race. It's true I told them we'd climb the Aubisque in group so we could keep as much lead as possible on the flat. After the top of the climb we still had 40km to go. But we were losing time on the climb, so I decided to attack anyway. Something wrong with that? If I wouldn't have, my efforts to gain time would have been for nothing; I didn't care about winning this stage," he told Het Nieuwsblad."

And this ........ That a man named "Thor" gave his most prized reward , the Green Jersey to Cheryl Crow. What does this mean ????? What is going on at the TDF behind closed doors ???? And that all of Germany is [censored] at Jan Ullrich. And I am [censored] at T-Mobile for not taking Zabel........ And "Flyer " is [censored] at the doping control guys for not letting him in the control station so he can point out the "injustice of their ways." "Can't we all just get along?"
I don't seem to relate other sports to soap opera's, but there is something odd about cycling and this [censored]. Can you imagine these kinds of conversations happening on the football (American..NFL) field?
"Ya, the opposition told me he would block for me as I try to run a touchdown in to win the game, but instead he tackled me at the goaline with no time left on the clock and now we lost. I'm very upset...this is a disgrace to football and to our fans".
Oh, NO! Aussie boy didn't keep his promise to work together. Mitosis is soo mad now with Cadel! Cadel is going to get a lesson in racing etiqutte from mitosis as soon as he gets back home.
Soap Operas on the football (American..NFL) field? 😕
Can you say Miami Dolphins and Rickey Williams?
At least we now have real-time news and TV and blogs and can get this kind of juicy stuff while it's happening and not later in some old dried-up has-beens autobiography.... 🙄
Basketball soap operas are even better. They pretty much dismantled the Lakers over a urination contest between two titanic egos.
All sports should look to 'professional' wrestling if they really want to refine this sort of act. The wrestlers have the name calling down to a fine art. Can you imagine Pereirro spouting Italian and waving a bike chain at Hincapie while Bruyneel sulks in the background with his hair slicked back? McEwen threatening to ride a wheelie over the judges if they disqualify him again? Vino calling Godefroot a Cossack?

All in good fun! 🙄
If there was even the slightest chance I could stay with him for long enough I certainly would.
And whatever happened to Mick Rodgers? Was he even riding in the tour this year? What about Brad McGee? Was he there? I thought I saw them, very briefly at the back of the peloton, or maybe at the feed station....

Haven't you heard the phrase winners are grinners?
There might be some excuse for being a bad loser but there's none for being sore winner.
