they--how to put this gently--hang it out and pee while their bike is
in motion. True.Funny when the cameras /show/ that, but (apparently) don't /realize/
they're showing that . . . . -

wondering, never heard it discussed

they're showing that . . . .I know Phil & Paul have mentioned it at least once, and I have seen several
camera shots from the back of riders taking a "nature break" which they
didn't talk about. It helps to know what you're looking at.

Maybe that's why their times don't qualify for the TdF ;-)

In all seriousness; how do this guys go to the bathroom when they are in the
saddle for several hours? When I was in NYC for New Year's Eve in Times Square, I realized that
having to pee was a really bad experience for a long time. The best
idea would be to get a...uh..."tube" of some sort that you could run
down your pant leg and out the bottom and then just stand over a sewer
grate and look up and pretend to be really amazed and impressed with the
view. -

The women will have organized pee-breaks for the group, if the racing
allows.Chris Neary

Last week, the camera bike was tracking someone and the rider slide over to
the side of the road, sort of tilted their hips... about the time the
camera-man slowly...panned...away ... to get a shot of the Peloton...
obviously knowing what came next... 😉 -

Best line in that story: "Riding for 200 kilometers at high speed in
heavy heat or cold rain tends to tire a person."--Karen M.
