It's not a court of law, that's why. They can set the rules as they
see fit. I could imagine a challenge in a court to such rules, but we
all know how long that would take.
but its tried in the court of public opinion..
notice today that Landis's B samples are claimed by"LÉquipe", to contain synthetic tesosterone, and Landis's people were excluded from the testing ( but obviously not "L'Equipés' people).
How did "LÉquipe" get the findings ??????
It is getting dirtier, Landis's pile of problems has just got bigger and LeTdF's Prudhomme may be smiling that he could finally declare a winner straight after the USADA hearing in May in the US...for a day at least before L appeals.
L maintains he is innocent, the Lab stuffed up, it is a conspiracy, and the French were out to get anyone leading who was American.
Unless L confesses we will never know if he lied. I doubt that the processes will get to the real truth on their own. I am dubious of much of the information published by LÉquipe and the methodology of the French Lab and worried by its close association with LÉquipe.
And in the court of Public Opinion the real loser is cycling...
