People in their teens and twenties have always done
things while ignoring or being ignorant of
consequences. I did. This I understand. But how does a
young person ignore the knowledge that that dotted line
they tattooed on their neck with the legend "Cut along
dotted line." is going to be there for the rest of
their, however long, ill-considered life. I am boggled.--

No, jihadists don't have tattoos. He's an American terrorist, like
Timothy McVeigh, so Bush now has to invade and occupy America. -

But those who get tattoos think they are improving on plain old
uninteresting skin by decorating it. And who can say that they are wrong? -

After dwelling on this for a bit, I'd have to agree. There's no pretense
of art here...or of intelligence.http://www.crimerant.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/curtis.jpg

Well, "wrong" is up for interpretation....There is moral wrong, and legal
wrong, and the wrong of personal taste. What someone else does to their skin
is of no concern of mine, so I could care less. Just because I wouldn't do
it to my skin however, does not make it "wrong". -

normal and desirable in one culture may well be repulsive and disgusting
in another.Pardon me..I have to run. The dog we hung for supper is ready for the
barbeque. Yumm...mike

I find tattoos and piercings to be ugly turn-offs. But that doesn't
make me right, only bigoted. -

In general, to qualify as a joke something has to be funny to more than one
person.
