Tandem rider in Blackwall Tunnel !!

I've often felt that it was a cheek to ban bicycles from the Blackwall Tunnel. The police will
transport you through the Dartford Tunnel and cycling is allowed (though not recommended) through
the Rotherhithe Tunnel, but there is a blanket ban on bicycles.

And when the A102(M) was downgraded to the A102, why didn't they allow cycles to use the road? It's
very peculiar. Cycling is allowed on the A2 up to the Sun in Sands Roundabout, and then not until
the Greenwich Junction, and then cycling is banned again at the tunnel mouth.
