Hi folks,
Last summer, during a bike travel through France, we met this guy during a lunch stop:

The restaurant owner told us he was a British rider who had recently left pro racing.
He was a very nice guy and even invited us to our coffees, but we couldn't grasp his name. Does anyone of you know him?
It's hard to say who they are when they don't have riding gear on an aint covered in sweat and a face of pain...

Thanks for the try... We'd wish he was Mrs. Pendelton, but obviously he was not and he wasn't Haynes either. In fact, he looked at lot like Nicholas Roche, but slightly fatter (he was supposed to be just retired...)

Not Nico Roche, as you say too fat and still racing.
