Tandem Communication

Anyone tried helmet to helmet communication systems for tandem riding? If
so was it successful, did it make any difference to the tandem experience
and what equipment would you recommend?

The Tandem Talk is the one people recommend. The main issue is the wind
noise on the microphone which the Tandem Talk has sorted.

I've got a spare radio set we used some years ago. ear-piece duals
as the microphone. can be set to voice activation.
£5 if interested (plus P&P) Suffolk [I'll need to check it still works,
as it is a few years since I last used it]

Serious question; what's wrong with the Mark One Voicebox? Even on fast
descents we can generally yell HOW FAST ARE WE GOING? [1] at each other.

Generally, with the steerer facing away from the stoker, any background
noise like traffic, wind etc can make conversation difficult especially as
we fast approach middle age and the hearing is not pin sharp anymore. Not a
major issue but just wondered if technology can improve things I will also
admit to being a bit of a gadget freak so something else to fiddle with, get
it working and then fiddle with it somemore and stop it working (the usual
sequence of events) appeals.
