Very nicely done -- and the riding isn't "outrageous", either. (I know
plenty of guys who could do pretty much everything in the video on their
hardtails -- except some of the "big air" moves, probably.) /Most/ of it
looked like singletrack, with a few technical sections here and there --
some hairier than others.

reminds me of some areas
around here.

That rock garden in the first
third was nice and hairy in spots.

I've got some semi-epic riding planned for around the 4th of July.
Gonna redo our old route of up Duck Lake and out Twenty-Mile, and add a
new one (to me at least) called Eagles Nest, a long, high altitude
ridge ride with spectacular views, and the next day go over to Stanley
and redo Fisher Williams, (like we did last summer), but this time
after a big burn went through. If I have any gas left in the tank by
then, I'll hang with our group the next day where they have a huuuge
Sun Valley ride planned to kinda cap off the road trip. That and
trying to schedule in North Idaho with y'all, it'll be a good summer.

Gonna ride Brundage and Tamarack a few times, and our own ski hill has
some of the best riding I've ever seen in the wester U.S., anyway. My
riding buddy and I might pick up a race here or there. We'll see.

But a lot of times it's like today. Ride 45 mins in the morning, catch
an hour after work, and save the longer rides for the weekends.

We no longer own long travel rigs, we sold them off. Official retirement
from the long travel rig world happened last year...

You are correct. It is a great vid!! But JD's gonna hate it! Right out
of the gate it has the word FREERIDE right in your face. Bad news! Then
his favorite 2 bike mfgs are mentioned back to back, Trek & Kona....

Therefore I whole heartedly support it's posting here!!

If it's what I'm thinking of, it's called "Stage Fright." Even tougher
than it looks, and practically vertical. My riding buddy the Kahona,
can ride everything you throw at him, but he had some trouble with that
piece. My bike mechanic, who is our state downhill champ, gives
advanced dh lessons there, too.
