My guess is you always go in pairs and grab onto your mate.

They arrived here in Ramsgate at about 8.30 last night. Fed and watered,
this morning we cycled out to Deal with my youngest and had ice cream at the
Beach Parlour there (which they seemed reluctant to leave!) before bidding
them farewell and good luck. They'll have a tailwind across Romney Marsh
today -- I think their destination is somewhere near Hastings...

Look forward to seeing them in London in August (if not before if I meet
them on on my bike travels).

They were telling me that Carradice gave tem all the luggage for free. Very
nice of them -- there's lots of it; Ed's bike fully-loaded weighs about
85kg. I tried lifting it and only just managed!
