Then you haven't been reading rfc very long. It's entirely in
character for him, and not even surprising. He's found a cross-posting
adversary who deserves the greatest possible opposition and he's going
to town on him without fear of reprisal. -aem

aem, are you speaking of me? I never cross-post on purpose, but sometimes I
reply to something that's already been cross-posted without realizing it.

I think you should resubscribe to rfc. It's a lot easier to keep up
via your newsreader than with Google.

Thanks, I hadn't been keeping track. Whatever Sheldon writes about me
doesn't bother me in the least, however, because everyone knows he's a vile
    windbag and full of [censored].

Carol has agent. And she uses that German Newsserver. I believe it is
    called indivual.net.

  6. Hi sf,

For me, it's much easier to just hit refresh from time to time and
check in on this one thread. I don't have the patience right now to
sift through all the posts looking for something that interests me.
The volume in RFC is just too high. And then there's Chung. 🙁

Look, Sheldon - disagreeing is one thing - but if you persist in this
[censored], I'll have to take further steps. This may be Usenet, but
you don't have free reign to accuse someone of something like that.
God, you're a sick piece of [censored].

    This subject has been killfiled...

I hope the rest of the list members do the same.

This is not an acceptable subject and is uncalled for.

I don't take usenet seriously, but even _I_ have my limits!
This is not the LEAST bit funny!

I am hoping that someone was faking the headers trying to make Shel'
look bad. I'm hoping he'd never sink this low!

Wishful thinking, Katra. The progression of posts have his M.O. written
    all over them.

Well, I for one apologize to you katra, for my part in the whole
affair. It's over now, and I don't have to read his stuff anymore.
Don't hate Sheldon, BTW, this is just something between us that got
out of hand. It should have been taken to email a long time ago.

You didn't get him riled up. Chung did. This was just spill-over

    Carol

Well, I think it was me being stupid enough to get involved in the
crossposting that caused the whole problem in the first place.
    I gotta quit doing that.

  10. I just don't get it. I do not and will never understand why anyone on
r.f.c. makes allowances for Sheldon or thinks he has even one remotely
redeeming quality that can justify this type of behavior towards other
    people.

Albeit under other nom de plume, I have been posting on r.f.c. since
Feburary, 1996, and have been reading the group even longer. Sheldon's
behavior, except perhaps to worsen, has not changed one bit since the first
    day I read posts here.

Whatever food-related knowledge he does or does not have (I find much of it
suspicious and debatable), there is nothing he could contribute that could
possibly justfiy his vicious and vile behavior. I have never, in my sixty
years, heard anyone use such vile and filthy language or make such vehement
attacks. If he did this in a public place, he could easily be arrested and
    jailed for such behavior.

Why r.f.c.'ers continue to allow (through supportive statements) Sheldon's
behavior is a complete mystery, yet let anyone else get remotely out of
line and the whole group is ready to tear them apart.

As I said, I just don't get it and I guess I never will, but Sheldon would
be best ignored by everyone here.

Right. Crossposting annoys everyone. I wish Pastorio and Chung would
both drop off the face of the planet when they crosspost. I hadn't
actually seen you do it but at least you admit your mistake. Now go
stand in the corner as penance, lol.

    Carol,

What does it matter what got him riled up or whether or not he'll get over
it. There is nothing on earth that excuses this man's behavior, absolutely
nothing! He is crude, vile, and vicious, and he takes great pleasure in
it. I'm sure he's also taking great pleasure in this continued string of
    comments.

Upgrade your version of Agent! Even the newest FA will warn you when
you are about to crosspost.... I just let Agent v2 go Free because the
only feature I used besides the newsreader was spellcheck.

I watched him change in rfc from a very nice and helpful guy (just

    behind a steering wheel.

I still know the "other" Sheldon and he is my friend.

Then you might suggest to your "friend" that his behavior here is totally
    unacceptable.
