What's you're point? I think you've shown that speed skaters stay
synchronized in order to keep from tripping over and slapping each
other. Not that there's anything wrong with that, as anyone who's ever
watched the 3 Stooges could tell you.

You could argue that any time Kunich and Lafferty are posting
to the same thread you've got synchronized cranks in rbr.

Watching the speedskating team pursuit was interesting. Sometimes
the teams looked a little rough in pull-offs, understandable since this
has been a relatively rare event till now. The tactics are changed
somewhat because pushing is allowed. The American men's
team, which fell apart at the end of its race, said they should have
had their strong guy at the back of the line rather than the front at
the end. OTOH, it sounds like the American speedskating team is
a sufficiently contentious bunch of divas that they might have fallen
apart anyway just to avoid being seen with each other.

Same thing happens on training rides. The guys I ride with don't like
each other much and so we fragment. That's why I always end up off the
back. Personality conflicts, that's all. I don't want to be seen with
them. Race day is a different matter. I don't know those guys well
enough to dislike them. I guess the reason there must be shyness.
