I would be most interested in hearing your plans to ride there. Would you be donig the whole distance in a day? or 2 days of riding?

well, its a thought at the moment. One (loooooong) day, with minimal luggage. It will be for the fun of it. So I can say, yeah, I rode there. Take some clothes in a small back pack, stay in a hotel, recover, eat ice cream, and come home. The following is from my fiance, who thinks im an idiot.....

Yes you are a tool. Why the F??? would you ride all that way just for fun.... TOOL.... While you do that i will sit at home and eat ice cream and not have sore legs and a sore ass..:p

Thanks babe. Now, I would spend a few days up there, enjoying my self, then try to come home. I am building up the kays I travel a week at the mo. I am looking at 300 a week to and from work a few times a week, but I can easily do a 100 kay trip no worries. That took me 3 hours, but that was a few months ago, so more cycling needed before I attempt it. Realistically, it will be early next year, or November if im good. What do you think??

Nelson Bay is your Everest. I must admit I have been thinking of Ashfield to Kiama (train back same day).

Why don't you book a nice hotel and have your lady drive down with your kit. She gets a nice weekend, you get your ride luggage free.
