I know everybody might start attacking me, and everyone else.
But...
the disscussion on here, depending on where you live, and what you wear is quite mixed.
what i would like to know is: 1 where you reside(country) 2 male or female 3 when you swim what you wear 4 why do you wear such things. 5 any reasons that are not why you wear them 5 what do you think of what others wear...
so for me:
I am in canada, i am male, normaly i wear a speedo style swimsuit -- about a 2 inch. I wear it because of many reasons; i wear then for ease of movement, they also hold me comfortably. easy to get on and off, dries quickly,. I dont wear them because of how they look on me. i dont wear them to show off anything about me. i dont care what others wear, but one question... why would they make thongs and other discusting looking stuff.

Figafobia or Phigophile depending on whether the focus (phocus) arises from fear or admiration.
In either case, I'm finding the whole thread quite precious, the concern grown-up men have for what is probably a slight contour of fabric is really just too cute. In their wildest imagination, they are expecting women to take note and make decisions for their future based on a materialism that is inconsequential for its purpose, anyhow.

Ruth, please show some sensitivity to those of us who's lives revolve around striking poses in our speedos (+ manziere in my case.) And please refrain from generalizing on the extent of our contours. Permit me the small pleasure of dreaming on about that special someone out there uncontrollably drawn to a sagging, middle aged man with excessive ear hair in a skimpy suit :-)

In that case, in the choice between one-size-fits-all and the more finely upholstered swimming outfit, let there be truth in packaging, no wired Manzieres to disguise ummm...sagging middle aged men with or without ear hair.

Ruth Kazez
Well, that certainly crimps my style, but I'll comply since I'm such a big believer in leaving something to the imagination. Can't part with the ear hair, though - that would make the voices stop.
Thanks, you made me laugh.... i guess the bettter question would be, y does it matter in some parts of the world, i thought we were free lol.
I am going back to the pool

I don't.
