Fabian probably means something like a body similar to an olympian such as Ryk Nethling , a multiple
NCAA champion swimmer.

Ryk suggests this 8000m workout:
WARM UP 2000m 1500 freestyle @ 18:00
3 x 500's @ 6:00 (descending, total time faster than the 1500)
5 x 300's @ 3:40 (descending, total time faster than the 3 x 500's combined)
15 x 100's @ 1:20 (descending, total time faster than the 5 x 300's combined)
Hey, if Hugo Zhang can do 10000m, maybe I can try this...........warm up -
2000m?...............NOT!!! Maybe that's why I'm not an olympian :-)
Cheers

I used to swim five times a week, two or three hours a day (twice a day,

You'll want to do supplemental ab work, as well.

I totally agree with Tao te Carl here. You have to swim at least 8-10 hours a week at 80-85% your
MHR, not just lazy laps. You need to feel the pain. Give yourself 2 ot 3 years to get there. Yes,
abs and crunches as well.
