    Hmmm. Also on Roadrunner in SD; all I did was click on the
    sites (Supergo & Performance) and they opened right up.

    I get timeouts here too, yet I can still view the website.
    My guess is that the server on which performancebike.com
    resides (or the firewall in front of it) is blocking ICMP.

    Performance and Nashbar are owned by the same company. If I
    remember correctly, you're right about Supergo too, as of
    around a year ago.

  12. I have a friend on Verizon DSL and can't get to those same
    sites. Another friend with the same service from Verizon can
    access it. Sounds like a DNS problem to me.

    If it were a DNS issue, the IP wouldn't resolve to the
    domain name in the traceroute.
