you guys should keep trying, its amazingly rewarding.....
i can't say any tips i have would really help....but the most important part is the transition from the first set of wraps to the next when you put ur foot back on the crank and the seat goes behind you. that has to be smooth.

.....Still working on it. My only problem is that my cranks allways end up tilted forward just enough to so when I step to the second crank slippity slide right off. I may put some grip tape on that side of the crank even tho its my grinding side.
