Sunscreen vs bug repellant.

A couple of days ago a passing car deliberately squirted me
with his screenwashers (I suppose I must have looked hot).
And for the remainder of the run any bugs I ran into just
dissolved. The "forest fresh" smell came out of my tshirt
after a couple of washes.

Deet is good, question that and "Deetman" will return) but

and he was sprawled out on the bonnet. I tossed him in the
boot and took him home. We rode the lift up to his flat.
Later he awoke and we recalled when we were lads and would
go on holiday to Blackpool. He realized I had hit him so he
said he wanted to ring the Constable to report it. I didn't
want any trouble with the bobbies, so I slotted my friend
right there.

No, It just seems like an awful lot of gunk to be putting
on. By putting the sunscreen on first, it seems that would
sweat off of your skin first, and carry away the bug
repellant (that purports to last 8hrs) with it. Given that
option, I think I'd rather be sun burnt than horsefly bit.
Does everyone here use sunscreen? I tend to think 1.5 hours
of partial sun per day prolly won't hurt you.

But I work in the early AM, and hit the sack about daybreak,
and if I ran then I'd be up till noon. And New England
horseflies get up at daybreak, so it wouldn't effect that
part. But thanks for the idea
