  1. Perhaps this is more of a rec.bicycles.marketplace question, although it does
concerning racing, sort of. . .

Anyone know where the best place to order A Sunday In Hell on DVD? I've never
seen it before and I'm thinking of asking for it for Xmas. I'm in Canada, if I
were to order it from the US (seeing as the Canadian dollar is doing good right
now) would I get charged duty by Canada Customs? Or should I order it from a
    Canadian shop like www.labicicletta.com??

I'm in Canada, and order from World Cycling Productions all the time. Service and delivery time are good and reliable.

Buy everything else at La Bicicletta. Because Heath Cockburn rocks.

  4. Does Canada Customs charge duty on imported DVDs? I'm pretty sure they charge
    GST at least.

If the claimed value of the shipment is $20 or less then no extra
charges are levied. Over that amount and you're charged around 15% or
so. This applies to USPS/Canada post shipments.

Private couriers - FedEx, Purolator - may also exact an amount over and
above the government's due, justifying it as a 'processing' fee or
similar. The most notorious in this regard is UPS - the fees are
    usurious. Avoid UPS wherever possible.

  7. Any idea how much World Cycling Productions charges for shipping DVDs?
    According to their page at
    http://www.worldcycling.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT&page=shipping.html
they charge $18.50 for USPS to Canada, which seems rather steep. Can
I not just get it sent via USPS First Class for $7.95?
