Did you prepare this "snack" yourself? Sounds yummy!

No it's a restaurant in town. I only do that about once every quarter.
I'd be dead if I brunched every weekend like that.

I was going to guess an hotel brunch and I would be waddling when I
    left.

Yes, I don't doubt that you lost 4#. It takes a lot of energy to pile that
    much in.

All I could muster this morning was oatmeal pancakes that I saw on TV
yesterday, along with some of that great maple syrup (Shady Farms, I think,
without looking at the label again) that I went out of my way to hunt down.
The poster who recommended this is No. 1, IMO. I ran out of 'good' oats and
am reduced to using bulk oats. I'll be getting more in quite soon.

Now that is what I'd call DESPERATION!!! Did you just play it back on
    VHS?

    😉

LOL. Went down to breakfast at a hotel in London once. Ordered my
standard "out" breakfast of coffee, half a grapefruit, bowl of oatmeal
and rye toast. Waiter said, all of that is available at our breakfast
buffet for less than the a la carte price of your order. An hour later
I waddled out....Their buffet of English breakfast was amazing. -aem
