  1. I have lurked in rbr occassionaly for 7 years now. What I have noticed is a
gradual decline in quality of the posts, and the groups in general. The
Critpro, Magillagorilla and other anonymous obnoxious flame throwers have
basically taken over the group. There is very little lucid and compelling
    comments left.

Brian Lafferty is left to defend his opinions against many illadvised
losers. Carl Sundquist still does a great job. Jobst Brandt long ago quit
posting. Bruce Hildensomething gave up years ago. Adam Meyerson basically
has quit posting. K.Papai's postings have lost their punch. Kunich, as
grumpy and opinionated as he was, has quit posting. On and on .... Most of
what is left is the reactions to trolls. What a waste of time.

I would like to propose a new group for those types. It would be called
    rec.bicycles.kneejerktrollers

    Thank you for your support,

You don't have to read that stuff you know.

Carl Sundquist still does a great job.

    Sure.

There's always RBT if you like that kind of thing.

Bruce Hildensomething gave up years ago.

Rumor has it he's back in Boulder now. I've never met the guy but I work
with several people who used to work with him. I did see him announce a
race once (Garden of the Gods). One of my teammates ran into him on a
training ride last year and invited him to join our team ride some day,
but he didn't. His picture (and big mig's) is hung in the restroom of
one of my favorite restaurants. I saw a guy riding a Cinghiale one day
who looked like he could be a royal pain in the ass. I asked him if his
name was Bruce, but it wasn't. Or at least he wouldn't admit it.

    Too busy making movies.

K.Papai's postings have lost their punch.

    Huh?

Were that it were true. You just forgot that you kill-filed him.

    This isn't a troll?

Most people would have troll filters figured out by now. I
guess that makes you a... oh never mind.

I've learned about blood chemistry, national governing body
finances, statistics, doping and dope testing. Ed Raket alone
is worth the price of admission, I've never seen as much
Euro-cross as I've seen this winter.

Bummer we haven't entertained you. And bummer your winnowing
skills are not up to the task.

    I've learned:

dénote la prise de cortisone -, il suffit de prendre un cachet
d'hydrocortisone avant le contrôle et de boire trois litres d'eau, et

I've learned that even if I don't think I'm asthmatic, I should get
tested to see if I can legally get more watts out of my legs by just
    getting an inhaler.

  12. Of course that was not his real name. An FBI agent mistankenly gave him
that name. Can't stop me from using my name, Daniel . I now live in LA CA
and work for a CPA firm, McGowan Guntermann.
