Well, broke my frame tonight. Not in the usual spot when people drop and then the frame splits. I was hopping around and I decided "hmmm I should learn to hold my handle ambidextrously so I have better hopping control in both directions". So I started using my left hand, did about 3 hops, then I went to hop on a curb, and snap. The whole top of the frame rips off.
So I need a new frame now, and I've heard people mention a nimbus frame, but I wanted to make sure that the dx seatpost will fit in the nimbus frame. If not, what frame could I get that the seatpost would fit in?
1) I'm pretty sure that if a welder were to reattatch the frame peices, it likely wouldn't be as strong as it was originally.
2) It's much harder to ride a wheelset with cranks and pedals as an ultimate wheel than it is to ride an -actual- ultimate wheel.
3) The Nimbus II frame is strong and should fit your current wheelset. If it doesn't quite fit, you can just force it on - this is what I had to do to make it fit my wheel (which has a KH hub).

why wouldn't the weld be as strong? if you know how to weld it should be the same

I think i'm just gonna get a new nimbus 2 frame, they're only 42$. I'd rather not reweld or get a new torker frame just to have it break again in less than two months.
What do you mean by force it though? Did you have to like bend the frame or something? I'd rather not have to do that...I want to make sure the nimbus ii frame will fit it perfectly.

you could try and get a new free torker frame and then sell it to pay for a nimbus
i would just call/email torker and have them send you a new frame. when that one brakes in a few monthes, they will already be selling the '07 model and u can request an '07 frame.
