  1. I find it surprising that nobody has mentioned Stuart O'Grady's recent
crash in Stage 2 of Tirreno-Adriatico. After hitting a pothole Stuart
crashed breaking his Collarbone and five ribs.

    Ouch.

Best of luck with your recovery Stuey.

I heard about Stu's crash via ABC radio, then looked for a followup news item. Um, er?!? I echo your thoughts, get well Stu! Stuffed ribs are never a pleasant thing to deal with. :o

  3. On 2006-03-15, cfsmtb (aka Bruce)
was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea:

They really should clear the cats off the road before a road race,
    shouldn't they? 🙂

Made 1/2 a page of news on Page 3 of our daily paper. Big news in Adelaide
    :-)

  6. It's been noted in my household. Damn tragedy considering his team
shannanigans between seasons and then a build-up to the classics, which
start this weekend. I've sent him an email via his website, but there's
no real point mentioning here because nobody here really cares about
pro racing, I've found. At least, nobody discusses it, anyway. I'm
    obsessed, of course.

Ah, no, the lead up is just as important to watch for observing riders form etc.

Poor Jan... people are expecting big things of him this year, without the shadow of Lance keeping him in the shade. Apparently he has been doing "secret training TM".

Do you want sauce with that?:p
