  1. Before I start let me say I am aware that this question may of been asked
before etc, its just that I'd like answers quickly, and information on
whether or not the techniques being used have worked and not just in
    theory..

So Brinks etc, bite your tongue, this post isn't aimed at you...

Basically I'm starting to get stretch marks in the joints on where my arm
meets my chest, and now on my biceps.... Is there any way of avoiding this??
yeah I know how it sounds, but we work out to improve the way we look, yet
we get these horrible red marks that never go away?!?!? I was told to
increase my vitamin c intake or was it e?? and also to get a cream that
pregnant women use to make my skin more subtle.... Anyone else tried the
cream? Is increasing my vitamin intake beneficial?? How did others combat
    this problem??

    many thanks!!!!!!

  2. It's vitamin E you were thinking of. I'm not sure how to get rid of
them honestly. You should embrace them...they sorta look cool. It's
like crazy rambo scars or something.

I have heard Cocoa Butter -- but check your local Vitamin Shoppe or GNC for
    topicals with COQ10...

Don't let yourself gain too much fat and you can minimise this effect,
but once you have them, you have them. I haven't heard or seen any
product that helps more than your average snake oil.

    Cheers,

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:

Plastic surgeons have a product that gets rid of stretch marks.

    It's called the bill.

  8. I have the same problem, and they are especially apparent after I work
out. As I look at them now, after a night of sleep, they aren't too
apparent. I hope it doesn't continue to worsen. I always assumed
there was a miracle cream I could rub on my skin if it got really bad.
