  1. In an attempt to stop smoking and get fit I've bought a bike, Stratchclyde
country park is about a mile away from my house, does anyone know the
    distance around the lake ?

Nearly 3.5 miles according to Autoroute. See:

Try Nicotine chewing gum - works for me.

Thanks for the quick reply Simon 🙂
Thats great, 3.5mile + the journey to and back will be around 6 miles all in
    🙂

I've got a desk drawer filled with with Nicotine gum for when I take the
    plunge. 😉

  4. Thanks for taking the time out to do that map 🙂

Don't give up if it's hard work at first. Do it for a fornight and
you'll feel like a new man! When I first started I had to have a break
every five or six miles, now I can do 50. You'll be amazed how your
fitness improves if you stick with it :-)

I ended up visiting the bizzarre bar at the amusements for a pint and a
smoke when I went cycling the other day 🙁

'spose its all part of the learning curve 😉
